Reading Made Easy

I told myself over and over that I will never succumb to the temptation of purchasing a reading device just because I don't want to lose my love of the smell of a newly opened book.Yes, I am that weird.

But, because I have so many paperbacks and hardbounds scattered at every house I lived in and it's taking so much time to clean, store and give away books, I grabbed the opportunity to own a Kindle when my sister decided to "give" me hers. For the price I paid for it, it was almost practically free!

It is a Kindle Touch Wi-Fi. I love it because I can not only read on it, but I can browse the web and go on Facebook as well through Wi-Fi connection. The only glitch is that this device does not have back light so that makes reading in the dark utterly impossible. I am yet to buy a case for it and a clip light so I can still read in the dark when my husband and son are already sleeping.

There are tons of free ebooks over at the Amazon Kindle Store and one can also purchase a book if it's not available for free.

I didn't have the chance to read on it as much as I wanted to this week because of the overtime we had to render at work, but I promised myself I'd catch up on my reading on Sunday when we finally get a day off work.
