I didn't notice that I was having mommy burn-out the past few days but I did notice that I've been so not myself - losing patience over the simplest of things and being overly hot tempered which I blame on the inconsistent weather that we're having. Isn't it near Christmas already, then why does it feel like it's summer?!
Anyway, last Saturday, I had my much needed time out. We had the chance to get out of the house and meet up with our college buddies and see my bestfriend who came home from Singapore to celebrate her son's baptism and first birthday here in the Philippines.
Meeting up with old friends is very refreshing. Passing on the task of carrying Johan to hubby even for a little while takes a lot off my tired back and shoulders. Getting reacquainted with the outside world (beyond YM and Facebook) is very uplifting.
I enjoyed the company of my friends tremendously and I gladly welcomed the tall glass of Iced Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks like an old friend. The game of bowling, which I miss a lot, was a nice way to cap off the evening.
Here are some photos:

The milk bottles look like they'll soon outnumber the frappes and iced coffees! |

My favorite photo - because all the dads gave the moms some much needed girl time and took care of the kids |

Outfit booboo - my white tank top showed when the camera flash was used, should have worn a black one instead |

A shot of the scores - hubby and I won, yey! |

'Twas a night to remember and even though we had to go through hell of a traffic on our way home, there's no lying that we really had fun. I wish we could do this at least once a month. Ehem, ehem, watcha think, guys?
